This policy covers this coming-soon page for "Hold the Pattern," a podcast from PowerPoint Ministries. It's intentionally short, since this page does one thing: let you sign up to hear when the show launches.
What we collect
- Email address — only if you voluntarily submit it through the signup form, so we can notify you at launch.
- Basic technical data — like anyone visiting a website, our hosting and security infrastructure (see below) automatically logs standard information such as IP address, browser type, and request timestamps. We don't use this for tracking or advertising — it's collected by the infrastructure itself, for security and reliability, not by any code we've added to this page.
We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts on this page. If that changes later, this policy will be updated first.
How we use it
Your email is used solely to notify you when "Hold the Pattern" launches and for closely related updates about the show. We do not sell or rent your email address to anyone.
Who we share it with
Submitting the signup form sends your email directly to these service providers, who process it under their own privacy policies:
- Mailchimp (The Rocket Science Group, LLC, an Intuit company) — our email service provider, which stores your email and sends the launch notification. See Mailchimp's Privacy Policy.
- WP Engine — our web hosting provider.
- Cloudflare — provides security and performance services in front
of our hosting; sets one functional cookie (
__cf_bm) used to help distinguish real visitors from automated bots. This is a security cookie, not an advertising or analytics one.
Cookies
Beyond Cloudflare's functional security cookie above, this page does not set cookies of its own. We don't use cookies for advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics.
How long we keep it
We retain your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it — whichever comes first.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email we send.
- Email us to access, correct, or delete the information we have about you.
Children's privacy
This page isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS/TLS) between your browser and our hosting provider. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we use reputable, mainstream providers and don't build custom data-handling code beyond what's described above.
Changes to this policy
If our data practices change — for example, once the full site adds features like episode comments, analytics, or affiliate links — we'll update this page and the date at the top.
